When an issue sells out and someone asks for a restock, the honest answer is that we can’t reprint it exactly — by the time we’re back at the machine, the ink drums loaded that week are rarely the same two colors as the original run.
We’ve started treating this as a feature rather than a limitation: a ‘restock’ is really a new edition, printed in whatever inks are actually available, and we say so on the cover. Nobody has complained yet.
